Description:	Great Backyard Bird Count in Sewickley Heights Borough Park   Meet park staff in the main parking lot at Sewickley Heights Borough Park at 9:00am to join in this annual bird count. This is a free program and no reservations are required, however we ask that all participants bring a dish for the potluck lunch which will be held at Fern Hollow Nature Center after the hike. This is a fun program for families with an interest in outdoors/birding. No experience necessary. If you would like to join us, please email, April at aclaus@sewickleyheightsboro.com to coordinate a dish to bring to the potluck. Data will be submitted to Cornell Lab of Ornithology, learn more at http://gbbc.birdcount.org/ Dress for weather, we will hike trails that may be snow/ice covered.

Description:	How to find OWLS for those who give a HOOT   Join us to learn about and look for some of our favorite nocturnal birds – OWLS! Kids will learn what makes owls special and different from other birds,  dissect an owl pellet and prowl about the nature center grounds  to try and find owls in our neighborhood.   REGISTER HERE!
