DESCRIPTION:Learn a simple and fun way to sow seeds in an enclosed container! \nJoin staff from Fern Hollow Nature Center to learn more about the basics of Winter Sowing: a simple and successful method of starting seeds in enclosed containers outdoors. SUMMARY:Nature and Nurture Hike
DESCRIPTION:The natural world provides so many opportunities\, even for our “littlest explorers\,” for discovery\, imagination and problem-solving\, as well as possible health advantages such as motor-skill development\, improved immunity & regulation of sleep-wake cycles. In this new series of guided hikes\, we are excited to share all of these benefits with children up to age 5 and a caretaker. \n\n\n\nWe will explore some of our community’s amazing parks! Terrain will range from easy to moderate\, and total length will be determined by the participants\, as these are geared to be child-led. \n\n\n\nThere will be story time and craft making to conclude our hike. \n\n\n\n*All children must be accompanied by an adult*Specific directions and meeting locations will be given to participants after registration.
