A Fern Hollow – Citizen Scientists Family Event!
Participants will learn how to identify some of our more common local birds, make a bird feeder for their own yard, and help gather data at the Fern Hollow feeders and in the meadow.
We’re excited to announce that Dee Paras, local illustrator, will be joining us for a reading of her book, “Birds in my Backyard”. Afterwards, attending kids will learn how she created the pictures & have an opportunity to make their own bird collage. Dee be also be signing copies of Birds in My Backyard available for purchase. The total will be $18.18, cash or check only please.
