Fall Explorers 2026

Fern Hollow offers Fall programming for early learners at Ohio Township Nature Center – Discover, learn, and explore with us! 

Little Explorers is a ten-session preschool program that combines nature hikes, seasonal lessons, and outdoor play to help 3 to 5-year-olds develop foundational early learning skills through nature. While indoor space is available, the primary focus is outdoor exploration. 

Classes are offered from 9:30 am to noon on Wednesdays with Ms. Cam and on Thursdays with Ms. Kara.

Junior Explorers is a ten-session program similar to Little Explorers with content tailored specifically for older preschool and kindergarten-aged children ages 4 to 6. The emphasis is on outdoor exploration, child-led discovery, and nature-based learning. Classes are offered on Thursday afternoons from 1:30 to 4 pm with Mr. Sam.

Registration opens for members on August 10th ($40/class, $400 for the session) and on August 17th for the public ($46/class, $460 for the session). Children must be bathroom-independent, and financial aid is available for residents of the Quaker Valley School District who qualify. The Fall session runs from September 9th through November 12th.
