If school is off, we are ON for FUN!
Join Fern Hollow during your day off from school, or as a Homeschooler!
The Fiddlehead Club is geared for all children grades K to 5th. If you are available to join us, we would love to have you!
Each program will be unique, nature based, and fun. Educators will lead a mini lesson, a hike, outdoor play time, crafts, games, experiments and more.
- Grades K to 5th unless otherwise noted.
- 10 am to Noon
- At Fern Hollow Nature Center (1901 Glen Mitchell Rd, Sewickley)
- Members $16 Public $22 per child, per program
- Limited spaces. Registration is required.

Explore the history of maple sugaring and the process of making maple syrup. Have fun in the outdoor classroom, a mini-lesson, enjoy a maple syrup taste testing, and create a craft.

Join Fern Hollow educators to celebrate world water day. We will enjoy a fun morning doing water experiments and making fun crafts. We’ll also spend time outdoors in our outdoor classroom.
A fun hike in our meadow as we look for winter birds. We will end the hike around a warm campfire while we discuss our observations, tell stories, and play ball in the field.

A morning learning about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s environmental justice movement and modern conservation efforts, especially for clean water.
