and the Sewickley Heights History Center
for our new Lunch and Learn Series!
These programs will be offered on selected wTuesday mornings at the Sewickley Heights History Center from 11:00 – 12:30.
Each will include a 45-minute presentation, a question and answer session, and lunch.
The cost to attend is $30 for an individual program, described below:

Join us for a lecture/performance go “Ring in the Vote” A Pennsylvania women’s suffrage leader tells her story of activism and inspiration during the campaign to gain the right to vote for American Women.
Pittsburgh’s Jennie Bradley Rousing led her team to towns in all corners of Pennsylvania to draw attention and contribute to the eventual support for women’s right to vote nationwide.
Yvonne Hudson portrays Pittsburgh’s Jennie Rousing who endlessly pursued the vote for women.

It may seem counterintuitive, but you need to plant your spring-blooming bulbs in the fall for the spectacular display you want in spring.
Join Pittsburgh Botanic Garden’s Education & Exhibits Director, Dr. Mark Miller, as he takes a deeper look at geophytes (bulbs, corms, tubers and rhizomes) that delight the eyes after a hard winter spell.
Interesting characters that you may not be familiar with will be detailed, as well as the ones that are more resistant to deer and other marauding critters.
