“I volunteer because it’s a good way to get outside. I’m in school and it’s hard to find time to get outside especially when we’re all on our phones and online. It’s therapeutic.
I give back to Fern Hollow because the community is so sweet and giving! It makes me want to volunteer.
I got involved volunteering through QV Key Club so I’m here twice a year to help clean up. The community keeps me coming back. It’s also a great way to spend time with friends away from screens.
I feel like I need to do my part where I can here at Fern Hollow. I want to be around them because they’re good people. I like to meet and be around people who are like-minded and want to be a part of something bigger that gives back.”
